Welcome to the BioMechatronics Laboratory in the Department of Systems and Computer Engineering at Carleton University. Our research combines advanced robotics with medical imaging and instrumentation to enable complex minimally invasive surgical interventions. Specific areas of research interest include:

- Medical robotics: Image-guided minimally-invasive surgery, collaborative human-robot surgery
- Medical instrumentation: Medical device instrumentation, biomedical sensors
- Medical imaging: Ultrasound imaging, multi-modal imaging
- Human-machine interfaces: Haptic devices, human-machine interaction, actuators and sensors
